World Arabian Horse Association WAHO

The World Arabian Horse Association (WAHO) was founded in 1970, and is a registered charity with its headquarters in the United Kingdom. There are now 82 countries affiliated to WAHO as Registering Authority Members. WAHO ensures that standards acceptable to all its Registering Authority Members are established and maintained in the matters of regulations, methods of registration and production of Stud Books.

WAHO holds a conference every two or three years, often in the Middle East, although it did hold a conference in Scottsdale, Arizona in 1990. Attending a WAHO conference in an exotic locale is a wonderful opportunity for Arabian horse travel! Its latest WAHO Conference was in 2017 in Bahrain.
