Arabhorse Farm Tour

The annual Arabhorse Farm Tour is “must do” when ringing in the New Year in Arizona

As the New Year arrives, you’re invited to enjoy three exciting days of Arabian horse industry festivities over an extended holiday weekend. Scottsdale-based, Arabian horse training & breeding barns host special two-hour presentations – open to the public, free of charge - as a nice run-up to Scottsdale's world-renowned Arizona Arabian Horse Association's February Show.

"Scottsdale is home to many of the Arabian industry's most prestigious farms and training facilities. Horse buyers travel from all corners of the globe to purchase horses here. Area residents and out-of-town visitors alike are invited to enjoy this unique facet of Scottsdale living during the long holiday weekend. Each day features special open farm events and the public is welcome to attend one or every event at no charge. Participating farms enjoy a well-deserved reputation for throwing great parties and are ready to share their passion for the Arabian horse with their guests."

Here's an article I wrote for the 2015 Arabian Horse Association’s Modern Arabian Horse magazine, “Best Winter Getaway for Horse Lovers.” Thankfully, in more recent years, Mother Nature smiled on the southwest with much balmier temperatures.
